Former executive director of St. Paul’s Aurora St. Anthony Neighborhood Development Corporation (ASANDC), strives to empower people to effect social change. Her work, has helped people find economic independence. Presley is accomplished in her field, but her greatest priority remains her family.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Kati

Dr. Mahmoud El-Kati

Mahmoud El-Kati is a lecturer, writer, and commentator on the African American experience. He specializes in African American history and advocates institution building within cultural communities. He is an advocate of building ones humanity through the understanding of their culture, history and community. He currently lives in the Rondo neighborhood, St. Paul’s historic Black community. Kofi Bobby Hickman

Kofi Bobby Hickman

Kofi Bobby Hickman was born and raised in Saint Paul and has remained a lifelong resident of the city. He directed the Inner City Youth League for twenty years and has been a community activist for over forty years. The oldest enrolled student at Metro State University, he is soon to graduate with a bachelor of arts degree. Tiger Jack Rosenbloom

Tiger Jack Rosenbloom

Tiger Jack a famous and wonderful beloved business man in Saint Paul. He opened his shed (Store) on 369 North Dale Street in the Saint Paul’s Rondo neighborhood and sold many things ranging from Hickory Chips charcoal and gave wonderful shoe shines. Before this he had earned his name Tiger jack when he was a boxer in the 20’s and 30’s. His smile and jovial greeting was wonderful even on a honk when driving past his establishment. After his passing his shed was donated to the Minnesota Historical Society. The shed is currently available to visit at the Minnesota History Center in Saint Paul.
